Wealthy Affiliate Review – Will Wealthy Affiliate Work For You?

I created this page to give my personal review of Wealthy Affiliate. I am an active member of WA so I thought that who better to do this than me.

Since starting this affiliate marketing gig, I have come across many so called training manuals, e-books, systems, etc, that all promise you the best training by these top notch Guru’s.
I have purchased (wasted my money) on more of these than I’d like to remember.
Don’t get me wrong, some where actually informative enough to pick up some useful tid-bits from.

But if your looking for an all around training guide that covers all of the bases, then Wealthy Affiliate is in the lead.

In my honest opinion, I think that Wealthy Affiliate offers the best training available on the Internet for making money online and within this review I am going to explain why I think this and I will let you come to your own conclusions on whether it is a right “choice” for you or not. I am going to break these down into…

“Reasons Why YOU Can’t Live Without WA…”

Reason #1: The Community.

Have you ever felt stuck, lost, or bewildered by the Internet marketing “wild west”? There is a specific reason for this…you had nobody to turn to when you were stuck. This was how I felt when I first tried this whole internet marketing thing, I felt like I was chasing my own tail. You will never have this feeling as a member of Wealthy Affiliate. The owners themselves (Kyle & Carson) are available for support ANYTIME which is awesome, however that is not even the best part. You have the ability to connect and communicate with 1,000′s of other aspiring and successful Internet marketers.

There are two ways that you can communicate at WA. First you have what they call WA spaces. Basically this is a community of blogs. When you join you get your own WA space in which you set up your own blog so you can post questions or thoughts anytime you feel like. Second way is through the forum. The forum covers many topics and there is somebody always in there with knowledgeable answers.

You can communicate directly with people that are having the same problems as you, people who have solved these problems already and want to help, along with many very successful online marketers, some of which net over $1 Million every year. That mentorship alone is worth 10 times the price of admission in my opinion!

Reason #2: The Training.

With over 400+ training tutorials, videos, and downloadable guides (and growing everyday), Wealthy Affiliate offers online business training like no other. If you are an absolute beginner or if you are an expert looking to expand your knowledge base and network, their robust training will help you take your business to the next level.

Each category contains it’s own set of specific resources, including a section-specific “getting started” guide which walks you through the entire process. If you are an absolute newbie, this will get you up and running very quickly. I have gone through every Getting Started section within WA and they all provide excellent training!

One thing that I really think is cool about their training is that members create resources and become an EXPERT within WA. There are many experts that contribute regularly within WA…adding new videos, tutorials, and guides for other members to download. Every single training resource is included with your membership. This is a great way for you to get started!

Reason #3: The Tools.

Some of the tools that you would otherwise normally have to pay for are offered within Wealthy Affiliate for free. Free keyword tool, free website hosting, free website builder, free Niche Reports, free article creator, free link cloaker, affiliate program research tool, tracking/masking…it goes on and on.I will say this more than once. WA will continue to exceed your expectations. I have never been associated with a company that is more giving. I mean when the guys (Kyle & Carson) behind Wealthy Affiliate create something, the offer it to members for free.

I have bought keyword and research tools in the past, such as Micro Niche Finder and Market Samurai. These keyword tools are, IMO, the two best out there. However, with that said, the keyword tool within Wealthy Affiliate is third in my book and the best thing about it is it’s free. Even with the two paid keyword tools that I own, I still use WA’s quite often.

Reason 4: Real People, Real Success.

Obviously, outside of all the features, support and training at Wealthy Affiliate, whether or not people are succeeding is important to me. If people are not succeeding around me (and if I haven’t succeeded), then I do not recommend something. I have passed on many products because I felt that they are either just plain crap or the claims where just too “hyped”. Whether this is a program to help you lose weight or to help you make money, the claims have to match the product quality or I don’t promote it. It is as simple as that. At Wealthy Affiliate you have the foundation to be as successful as you want.

The cool part is that I am not even close to being the most successful member at Wealthy Affiliate. There are guys and gals within the community that make much more than me ($1 MILLION+ per year) that started at WA with no other training. There are also many people earning $20, $50, $100+ per day with the training. Again, the foundation is there, it all depends on the work that you want to put into it.

If I can achieve success with something, so can you. I am just a regular person that was willing to work towards something…and with the help of WA and a little elbow grease I did it and I am still doing it. After a little over two years the passion in me for this has grown tremendously. I simply love what I do now.

Reason 5: WordPress Express

WordPress Express is the latest addition to the Wealthy Affiliate community.

It is a system in which with a couple of clicks you can have a WordPress blog/site up and running. These sites are all hosted on Wealthy Affiliates own severs so it’s not costing you anything, it’s all included in your membership should you join.

You can make as many as these blogs/sites as you wish.
This is a great way to get your niche sites up and running when your starting a campaign.
This alone is worth the membership that you pay.

“Reasons Why You CAN Live Without WA…”

Ok, so with the good comes the bad right?
There are some issues that stick out that may be roadblocks for some…

One is the membership price. Although it is definitely in line with the training you’ll be receiving, some people may find it a little steep. (See pricing structure below)

Two is information overload. This may not be such a bad thing, but I have seen it impede more than one persons progress.

What I mean by info overload is this:
As I said in my review, there is a ton of information available to you when you join, but sometimes this information could be overwhelming to a person that is just starting out. I’ve seen people just jumping around from lesson to lesson without actually taking any action. The best thing to do is read the step-by-step action plan when you first sign up. This outlines the actions that you should be taking in order to get on the right path. Once you have gone over the action plan, i have found the best way to navigate the site is to use the site map. The site map breaks down the different sections and under each section you’ll find the different lessons. This brings me to the third issue that I have with the site…

Although information is being adding on a regular basis, which helps you keep up with the growing trends of the industry, you’ll find yourself coming across certain lessons that are completely outdated. It’s not to say that you can’t pull a snippet or two of useful information out of these lessons, it’s just that sometimes you’ll be reading a lesson and realize that the information/tips within it may not work because of the ever changing environment of internet marketing. Don’t get me wrong, there is still a wealth of information that’s up to date and useful, but because of the vast amount of information, I feel that Kyle and Carson should spend a little more time sifting through it all and either updating some of it or getting rid of it all together.
